Low cement castable is a new type of castable with little cement content. The cement content of refractory castable is generally 15% ~ 20%, while the cement content of low cement castable is about 5%, even reduce to 1% ~ 2%. Its thermal shock resistance, slag resistance and corronsion resistance are significantly improved, surpassing similar firebricks. Ultra-low cement castable and cementless castable can be prepared by further reducing the binder content. The purpose of reducing the amount of cement is to improve the refractory performance of castable.
Low cement castable is suitable for all kinds of heat treatment furnace, heating furnace, shaft kilns, rotary kilns, electric furnace covers, blast furnace tapholes, etc.; The self flowing low cement castable is applicable to the lining of the integral spray gun for jet metallurgy, the high-temperature wear-resistant lining of the petrochemical catalytic cracking reactor, and the outer lining of the water cooling pipe of the heating furnace.
